Self-diagnosis information and fault handling of electromagnetic flowmeter

The intelligent electromagnetic flow converter has self-diagnosis function. In addition to power supply and hardware circuit failures, all the failures that occur in the application of the instrument can correctly give alarm information. The "!" Mark is displayed on the upper right of the display of these messages. In the measurement state, the fault content is displayed as follows:

Troubleshooting

1) Instrument wireless is

a) Check whether the power is turned on;

b) Check whether the power fuse is intact;

c) Check whether the power supply voltage meets the requirements;

d) Check whether the contrast adjustment of the monitor can be adjusted and adjusted to an appropriate level;

e) If the three items a), b), and c) above are normal, and the display in item d) cannot be adjusted, please return the converter to the manufacturer for repair.

2) Excitation alarm

a) Whether the excitation wiring EX1 and EX2 are open;

b) Is the total resistance of the sensor excitation coil less than 150 ?;

c) If both a) and b) are normal, the converter is faulty.

3) ATC alarm

a) Whether the measuring fluid is full of the sensor measuring tube

b) Short-circuit the three points of the converter signal input terminals SIG1, SIG2 and SIGND with wire The tube range is set incorrectly.

c) Check whether the signal connection is correct;

d) Check whether the sensor electrode is normal;

â‘  Make the flow rate zero, and the observation shows that the conductivity ratio should be less than 100%;

â‘¡ In the case of flow, the resistance of the measuring terminals SIG1 and SIG2 to SIGGND should be less than 5k?

e) The direct DC voltage of DS1 and DS2 measured with a multimeter should be less than 1V, otherwise the sensor electrode is contaminated and should be cleaned.

4) Upper limit alarm

The upper limit alarm indicates that the output current and output frequency or pulse are out of limits. After changing the flow range, the upper limit alarm is cancelled.

5) Lower limit alarm
